Firstly, did you know that there are certain types of food that you can eat to improve your memory power? Eating well is just as important to your mental health as it is to your physical health, so it is obviously important to have a healthy and balanced diet. However, I want to bring your attention to a few things that specifically help with the brain’s capacity when consumed. Go for fish such as salmon. They contain essential fatty acids that help with the brain’s functions. Another option you have is nuts because they contain lots of Vitamin E. Don’t forget your fruit and vegetables, like broccoli, tomatoes, blueberries, blackcurrants, just to name a few. Basically, just ensure that you are getting your vitamins daily.
Get Rid Of Excess Stress
A stressful brain will not be able to function at optimum level. Be sure to not overwork, but give your body enough rest. Take breaks during your day job and try not to work overtime too much. Too much of that is not good for your overall physical and mental health. I would suggest you give your body at least 8 hours of sleep as well, because that will freshen up your mind and allow you to think and remember clearly. Other ways you can rid yourself of stress is through activities such as meditation, yoga, relaxation techniques or even walks in the park.
Exercise Your Brain
Did you know that even our brain needs exercising? Don’t just leave your brain cells lazing around. Stimulate them through challenging puzzles, Sudoku, reading, learning new skills, thinking, or trying to solve the Rubik’s cube. By stimulating your brain cells, you increase the number of connections made within the brain, and that will certainly improve your memory power. Furthermore, exercising your brain will also improve your mind’s cognitive functions, hence allowing you to think better.
